Job summary

TeamHealth in Garner, NC seeks a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide evaluation, diagnosis, and medication management for older adults in post-acute and long-term care settings. The role offers clinical autonomy, flexible scheduling, and strong organizational support with onsite care and remote documentation.

Coverage includes South Raleigh area and Fuquay-Varina, NC. W2 position with full benefits and a competitive compensation package is provided.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted North Carolina license as a PMHNP-C or Psych PA-C.
• Active DEA license or willingness to obtain.
• All experience levels as PMHNP or Psych PA welcomed.
• Experience with older adults or post-acute care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and mental status examinations.
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric and neurocognitive disorders in older adults.
• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams across care settings.
• Provide remote documentation and onsite patient care with no nights or weekends.
