Job summary

The Cincinnati VA Medical Center is seeking a Supervisory Occupational Therapist (Service Chief) to lead the PM&R Service, overseeing planning, development, and operation of all service functions and programs. This role includes budgeting, staffing, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive rehabilitation care for veterans in a large federal health system.

Applicants must meet licensure and accreditation requirements and possess leadership experience in a rehabilitation

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy or higher with licensure in the state.
• Experience meeting licensure requirements and ACOTE standards.
• Leadership or supervisory responsibilities in a rehabilitation setting.
• Knowledge of clinical practice guidelines and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all PM&R service functions and programs.
• Provide budgeting, staffing, procurement, and personnel management for the PM&R service.
• Serve as the PM&R Service liaison to Medical Center leadership and external partners.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation.
