Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs Cincinnati VA Medical Center is seeking a Supervisory Audiologist to serve as Chief of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).

This senior role includes planning and developing all PM&R service functions and programs and coordinating with executive leadership. The incumbent will oversee clinical and administrative activities, manage staffing, budgeting, procurement, and contracts, and ensure compliance with standards across VISN and national PM&R

Qualifications

• Doctor of Audiology degree from an ACAE/CAA-accredited program.
• Current full, unrestricted audiology license in the U.S.
• Strong leadership and budget management capabilities.
• Experience supervising a diverse team in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate all PM&R service activities in a large, complex facility.
• Provide expert guidance to management and supervise PM&R staff.
• Oversee budgeting, contracts, and procurement for the service.
• Collaborate with VISN, national PM&R, and other Center services.
• Lead strategic planning, performance metrics, and workflow improvements.
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards and accreditation requirements.
