Job summary

Comprehensive Rehab Consultants is seeking a part-time PM&R clinician to provide specialized physiatry services at a designated SNF/post-acute rehab center in Amherst, VA. You will collaborate with therapists and PCPs to optimize patient outcomes and maintain independence for geriatric patients.

The role offers weekday daytime hours, remote scribe support for documentation, and opportunities for ongoing education and certification. Virginia licensure and NP/APRN/PA credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Virginia medical license required.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
• Post-acute/SNF experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized PM&R/Physiatry services as a rehab consultant.
• Represent CRC in your facility through strong clinical leadership and collaboration with the care team.
• Collaborate with PCPs to manage conditions common in SNFs (CVA, neurological conditions, postoperative ortho).
• Work with PT/OT/SLP teams to improve patient function and quality of life.
• Follow therapy patients to track progress and outcomes in therapy.
• Attend multidisciplinary meetings and bridge therapy with internal medicine.
• Engage in culture-building and ongoing education with regional teams.
