Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
• 4-6 years Medical office or healthcare related experience Required
• 2 years Leadership/management experience Required
• Knowledge of computer-based data management programs.
• Knowledge of health plans and managed care plans.
• Superior oral and written communications skills.
• Knowledge and understanding of medical coding and guidelines.
• Experience assigning CPT, ICD-10 and HCPCS codes.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day activities of the medical practice.
• Coordinate communication between team members and physicians to ensure appropriate care and outcome planning.
• Ensure policy compliance with external regulatory authorities and internal standards.
• Consult with CBO and third party representatives regarding patient financial responsibility, eligibility, service authorization, and reimbursement.
• Balance cash drawers and petty cash daily and make daily bank deposits.
• Lead team development and performance evaluations.
• Manage department's financial resources.
• Communicate departmental and industry information to staff.
