Job summary

SMP Health - St. Catherine North in Fargo, ND is seeking a compassionate PM Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our Memory Care Unit.

This role focuses on residents living with dementia, delivering direct nursing care, and supporting evening routines in a calm, person-centered environment. You will administer medications, monitor residents, complete assessments, contribute to individualized care plans, and collaborate with CNAs and the interdisciplinary team to provide safe, dignified care during the PM

Qualifications

• Active RN or LPN license in North Dakota.
• Experience in memory or dementia care preferred.

SMP Health is seeking a compassionate and dedicated PM Nurse (RN or LPN) to join our Memory Care Unit at St. Catherine North. This position is ideal for a nurse who has a passion for caring for individuals living with dementia and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents and their families.

As a PM Nurse, you will provide direct nursing care, support residents through evening routines, and help create a calm, structured, and person-centered environment. You'll work alongside a team that understands the unique needs of memory care residents and is committed to preserving dignity, promoting comfort, and fostering meaningful connections.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents living with dementia and memory-related conditions
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor resident conditions and communicate changes to providers and leadership
• Complete resident assessments and contribute to individualized care plans
• Support residents during evening routines and transitions
• Collaborate with CNAs and interdisciplinary team members to provide person-centered care
• Respond to behaviors and resident needs using dementia-focused approaches
• Educate and support families regarding resident care and well-being
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Promote resident safety, dignity, comfort, and quality of life

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Dakota
• Passion for caring for individuals living with dementia and memory loss
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, memory care, or dementia care preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Ability to remain calm and supportive in changing situations
• Comfortable using electronic medical record systems

Pay & Benefits

RN: $38.00 - $42.00 per hour
LPN: $29.00 - $33.00 per hour

Plus $3.00/hour PM shift differential

Schedule

• Full-time and part-time opportunities available
• PM Shift: 2:45 PM - 11:00 PM
• Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation
