Job summary

The Summit Hotel is seeking a Line Cook for the PM shift in Cincinnati, OH. Prepare dishes to specification, maintaining high quality and presentation across restaurant, room service, and hotel cafeterias.

You will work multiple kitchen stations, rotate perishables, and help control food costs while upholding safety and sanitation standards. Training and growth opportunities are provided by Valor Hospitality.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required.
• Culinary certificate or degree preferred.
• Six months–1 year in a food/beverage services environment or establishment.
• Able to lift 20–40 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food of consistent quality following recipes and standards.
• Work all kitchen stations: broiler, sauté, fry, pantry and expediter.
• Date and rotate perishables; check pars and set up line.
• Assist in maintaining buffet stock and setting up plans to control food costs.
• Return unused items to storage and ensure safe sanitation throughout shift.
