Job summary

PAR Electrical Contractors, LLC is seeking an experienced Project Manager I to support planning and execution of transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects. This role is ideal for early- to mid-career PMs seeking growth in electric utility construction while gaining hands-on experience managing complex infrastructure projects.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management (or equivalent), PMP within 60 days, and willingness to relocate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Experience supporting or managing Transmission and Substation construction projects.
• Strong understanding of electric utility construction practices and terminology.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as needed within the Region.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.
• PMP certification required within 60 days of hire.
• Must be based in or willing to relocate to the metro area.

Responsibilities

• Support the management of transmission, distribution, and substation construction projects from initiation through closeout.
• Assist with project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, and safety teams.
• Help manage subcontractors, vendors, and material deliveries.
• Track project progress and prepare status reports for internal leadership and clients.
• Support change order management, documentation, and contract compliance.
• Ensure work is performed in accordance with company policies, safety standards, and client requirements.
• Participate in project meetings, job briefings, and site visits.
• Assist with project closeout, including documentation, billing support, and lessons learned.
• All other duties assigned by manager.
