Lido Beach Resort in Sarasota, FL is seeking a PM Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our housekeeping team and ensure guest rooms and public areas meet our high standards. You will oversee housekeeping duties, manage laundry staff, and coordinate supplies within budget while delivering outstanding service.

This role emphasizes strong communication, exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to train staff.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED. Not required but a plus.
• Experience in housekeeping supervision.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Conflict resolution experience.
• Patience and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff as duties are being performed
• Supervises the duties and tasks of laundry staff
• Stocks and maintains supply rooms; orders supplies according to a budget
• Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services
• Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards
• Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards
• Organizes all staff during the day and hosts daily meetings with housekeeping staff
• Assists guests with questions and basic requests
• Provides a high level of customer service at all times; remains professional
• Trains new housekeepers and support staff
• Meets with company officials regularly in order to provide progress reports and address issues
