Lido Beach Resort is seeking an AM Housekeeping Supervisor to lead housekeeping and laundry teams, ensuring clean, safe rooms and guest satisfaction.

The role requires strong people skills, prior supervision experience, and a focus on quality and safety in a beachfront setting in Sarasota, FL.

Responsibilities

• Supervises housekeeping staff during shift and coordinates tasks.
• Oversees laundry staff duties and workflow.
• Manages supply rooms and budgeting for supplies.
• Receives and resolves guest complaints related to housekeeping.
• Ensures guest rooms and common areas are clean and hazard-free.
• Organizes daily staff meetings and daily workflow.
• Assists guests with questions and requests with a high service level.
• Trains new housekeeping and support staff.
• Provides progress reports to management and flags issues.

The housekeeping supervisor is the lead housekeeper on a team; he or she will be required to oversee all housekeeping duties within a particular facility or on a particular team.

Responsibilities:

• Supervises housekeeping staff as duties are being performed
• Supervises the duties and tasks of laundry staff
• Stocks and maintains supply rooms; orders supplies according to a budget
• Receives, processes, and handles guest complaints in regard to housekeeping services
• Ensures that rooms are kept clean and free from hazards
• Ensures that all common areas are kept clean and free from hazards
• Organizes all staff during the day and hosts daily meetings with housekeeping staff
• Assists guests with questions and basic requests
• Provides a high level of customer service at all times; remains professional
• Trains new housekeepers and support staff
• Meets with company officials regularly in order to provide progress reports and address issues

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Previous experience in housekeeping supervision
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Good time management and organizational skills
• Conflict resolution experience
• Patience and good listening skills
