Job summary

Opal Collection in Key West is seeking a House Attendant to join our housekeeping team. You will support Room Attendants, maintain cleanliness of guest rooms, hallways, and public areas, and help ensure a welcoming guest experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required.
• Previous housekeeping experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of rooms, hallways, and other areas of the hotel
• Support Room Attendants with routine by stripping beds, removing and replacing linen, emptying wastebaskets, stocking supplies
• Transport linen carts with clean laundry from laundry room to storage room on each floor
• Clean and organize items stored in laundry room, supply/storage closets, linen room, and/or uniform room
• Identify and report preventative maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships
