SteveRecruiter, LLC is seeking a Project Manager for heavy civil/NCDOT work in the Charlotte market and across central North Carolina. You will run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout, leading teams and owning budgets to deliver on schedule and safety objectives.

To succeed, you should have 5+ years as PM of record on heavy civil work, with documented NCDOT experience. Boulder candidates welcome to relocate to Charlotte area for this role.

Formación

• 5+ years as the Project Manager of record on heavy civil, highway, bridge or utility work for a contractor.
• Documented NCDOT project experience as the PM is required. Be ready to name the jobs.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management preferred, or equivalent field experience.
• OSHA 30 is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Run NCDOT roadway, bridge and utility projects as the Project Manager of record, from preconstruction through closeout.
• Own the budget, schedule, cost reports, forecasting and margin on every job you run.
• Submit accurate cost and income projections and act on variances early.
• Lead superintendents, field engineers and subcontractors to hit production, quality and safety.
• Serve as the main contact for NCDOT, owners, engineers, inspectors and vendors.
• Issue subcontracts and purchase orders and manage subcontractor performance.
• Handle change orders, pay estimates, submittals, claims and contract documentation.
• Run weekly project meetings on schedule and cost, and report performance to leadership.
• Work with estimating on bids and the handoff so the job starts right.
• Keep a strong safety culture on every site.
