Job summary

ZMC Hotels, LLC is seeking a bar/food server who will produce food items that meet hotel standards, wait on bar guests, take orders, and deliver drinks or meals while collaborating with the kitchen team.

You will keep your station clean, follow recipes, attend required OSHA training, and provide outstanding guest service. The position offers benefits, opportunities for advancement, and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of fundamental principles and procedures of food preparation.
• Must be able to lift 30 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Must communicate satisfactorily with guests, management and co-workers.
• Must attend county food handlers' course.
• Certified in Serving Alcohol with Care or similar program.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests at bar and tables, offer food menu, inform them of drink specials.
• Take orders and deliver to kitchen, then serve drinks or food.
• Prepare drinks for the cocktail server and maintain station cleanliness.
• Return to tables to ensure guests' needs are met and offer dessert.
• Follow recipes, keep workstation clean, and adhere to safety standards.

Job Summary:

Produces food products that conform to hotel and ZMC Hotels standards and meet or exceed guest expectations. Practices safe and sanitary work habits. Waits on Bar guests, obtains drink and/or food order and serves. Prepares drinks for the cocktail server. Responsibilities include cleaning and restocking.

Responsibilities:

• Must have knowledge of fundamental principles and procedures of food preparation.
• Must keep workstation clean and organized.
• Must be capable of preparing a minimum of 200 covers in and 8-hour shift.
• Must adhere to hotel/franchise and ZMC Hotels standards.
• Must be familiar with and adhere to standard recipes.
• Must communicate well with Kitchen Manager and co-workers.
• Must have knowledge of and adhere to OSHA requirements.
• Must practice safe working habits.
• Must attend food handlers' course as required by county.
• Must complete tasks assigned by Kitchen Manager and General Manager.
• All duties must be carried out in a safe manner.
• Be flexible and adaptable to the changes that will occur to your job
• Employee must treat everyone with dignity and respect.
• Keep confidential the business functions of the company including, but not limited to, financial status, customer/guest information, employee issues, etc.
• Promptly greet guests at bar and tables, offer food menu, inform them of drink specials.
• Obtain the order and give to the kitchen for food preparation or mix drink as ordered then deliver order.
• Return to table periodically to make sure all needs are met, offer dessert.
• Basic knowledge of menu prices and composition.

Qualifications:

• Highly organized.
• Must be able to work the majority of the shift in a standing position, constantly moving, and able to lift 30 pounds.
• Strong Guest Service Skills
• Must have attention to detail and be customer service oriented.
• Ability to communicate satisfactorily with guests, management, and co-workers.
• Certified in Serving Alcohol with Care of similar program.
• Successfully complete training of required OSHA programs.
