Aliya Healthcare in Palos Park, IL seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities and quality care. You will work with a clinical team to promote health, comfort, and dignity in a supportive environment.

The role includes helping with bathing, feeding, mobility, and monitoring vital signs, while maintaining HIPAA standards and accurate records. PM shift 2-10pm, competitive benefits, and opportunities for professional growth are offered.

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a CNA, including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals.
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations.
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
