Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team in Palatine, IL. You will assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support, while maintaining dignity and privacy.

As a CNA, you will collaborate with a skilled clinical team, document care accurately, monitor residents' condition, and respond promptly to calls. CPR certification and state CNA credentials are required, with 18+ age.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CNA certification and be licensed as required by state law.
• CPR certification is required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and assisting residents.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification
• Perform other duties as assigned
