Job summary

Aliya Healthcare in Chicago is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist residents with daily living activities and to work closely with our clinical team in a supportive, resident-centered environment. The ideal candidate holds a current CNA certification and CPR, is at least 18 years old, can lift up to 100 pounds, and communicates effectively in English.

Prior long-term care experience is preferred, and you will help maintain dignity, privacy, and comfort while

Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification as per state law
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• CPR certification required
• Long term care experience preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with mobility needs

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide nourishment between meals
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output; respond to call lights
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity per HIPAA and facility standards
• Comply with federal, state, and facility regulations
• Stay current through CNA education and certification maintenance
• Perform other duties as assigned
