Aliya Healthcare in Palos Park, IL is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents with daily living activities. You will assist with bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility, and monitoring conditions. This role requires current CNA certification, CPR, ability to lift up to 100 pounds, and good English communication.

Long-term care experience is preferred. The team emphasizes resident privacy and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Must hold state-certified CNA.
• 18+ years old.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a CNA (bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing).
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals.
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning.
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output.
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests.
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations.
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines.
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
