Job summary

Aliya Healthcare is seeking a compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide essential support to residents in daily living activities. The CNA will work alongside a skilled clinical team to ensure health, comfort, and dignity, while maintaining HIPAA-compliant and respectful care.

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in accordance with state law.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Long term care experience preferred.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and assist residents with physical mobility needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing
• Serve meals, assist with feeding, and provide water and nourishment between meals
• Support residents with mobility, including ambulating, turning, and positioning
• Monitor and document vital signs, weight, intake, and output
• Ensure resident comfort and respond promptly to call lights and requests
• Report changes in resident condition to the nursing supervisor
• Maintain accurate documentation of care provided and resident observations
• Uphold resident privacy and dignity in accordance with HIPAA and facility standards
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility regulations and guidelines
• Stay current through educational opportunities and maintaining CNA certification
• Perform other duties as assigned
