Job summary

Hiller Heating and AC is seeking a skilled Plumbing Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and install plumbing systems and water heaters in residential settings. You will perform routine maintenance, provide cost estimates, and keep the service vehicle organized and stocked.

This role requires a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver’s license. We offer paid training, a strong benefits package including medical, dental, and vision, and 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required and approval to drive by company insurance carrier.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Proven experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse plumbing service issues.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, water heaters and drainage.
• Install plumbing systems, fixtures, appliances, and water heaters per local codes and company standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
• Provide clear explanations and cost estimates to customers before beginning work.
• Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked service vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

Education/Certification Requirements

• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

$20 - $35 an hour
