Job summary

Hiller Heating and AC is hiring a plumbing technician in Memphis to diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install plumbing systems, and perform routine maintenance. You will provide clear cost estimates and maintain a clean, stocked service vehicle.

A high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required. Compensation ranges from $22 to $30 per hour with benefits including health coverage and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Proven experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse plumbing service issues.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures and drainage systems.
• Perform installations of plumbing systems, fixtures, appliances, and water heaters.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
• Provide clear explanations and cost estimates to customers before beginning work.
• Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked service vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

Education/Certification Requirements

A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

A valid driver's license, and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier.

Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Proven experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse plumbing service issues.

Strong communication and customer service abilities.

$22 - $30 an hour
