Job summary

Hiller Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical in Memphis, TN is seeking a qualified Plumbing Technician to join our team. You will diagnose and repair plumbing issues, perform installations, and provide clear cost estimates to customers, while maintaining a clean, stocked service vehicle.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and insurability.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proven experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repairing diverse plumbing service issues.
• Strong communication and customer-service abilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues to include (but not limited to) leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures and drainage systems.
• Perform installations of plumbing systems, fixtures, appliances, and water heaters
• Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
• Provide clear explanations and cost estimates to customers before beginning work.
• Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked service vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

Education/Certification Requirements

• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.


• A valid driver’s license, and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier.


• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.


• Proven experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse plumbing service issues.


• Strong communication and customer service abilities.

$22 - $30 an hour
