Job summary

Hiller is seeking a plumbing service technician to diagnose and repair plumbing issues, install systems and conduct routine maintenance for customers in the Cookeville area. You will explain costs clearly and maintain a clean, stocked vehicle while upholding company standards.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and excellent troubleshooting and customer service skills. Join a family-friendly team with a focus on growth and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair plumbing issues including leaks, clogs, water heaters, fixtures and drainage systems.
• Perform installations of plumbing systems, fixtures, appliances, and water heaters according to local codes and company standards.
• Conduct routine maintenance and system inspections to identify potential problems and recommend solutions.
• Provide clear explanations and cost estimates to customers before beginning work.
• Maintain a clean, organized and fully stocked service vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Responsibilities

Education/Certification Requirements

• A High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• A valid driver's license, and approved to drive by Company's insurance carrier.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Proven experience in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and correcting diverse plumbing service issues.
• Strong communication and customer service abilities.
