Job summary

Happy Home is seeking a Plumbing Sales/Commercial Estimator to drive new business, build lasting customer relationships, and convert opportunities into signed work, blending technical plumbing knowledge with consultative selling as you evaluate jobs on-site and present detailed estimates.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in plumbing sales or estimating, strong communication and negotiation skills, and a proven ability to scope and price jobs while maintaining customer focus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years plumbing industry experience in field, service, or sales.
• Proven success in sales, estimating, or customer-facing roles.
• Ability to scope and price plumbing jobs, read plans when needed.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; background check and drug screening.
• Plumbing license or journeyman card a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referrals, networking, and leads.
• Build relationships with homeowners, property managers, builders, and commercial accounts.
• Present options and close proposals at the customer's site.
• Perform on-site evaluations for residential and light commercial projects.
• Prepare detailed estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, and permits.
• Coordinate with service manager and field techs after sale.
• Track win/loss results to adjust pricing and approach.
