The role emphasizes customer interaction, accurate estimates, and long-term relationships. A associate degree is required, bachelor’s preferred, with strong Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in construction sciences, HVAC or related field required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing/mechanical systems and costs.
• Experience building estimates and working with customers.

Responsibilities

• Survey plumbing and mechanical systems and identify repair or replacement opportunities.
• Review drawings and job conditions to understand the scope.
• Build estimates around labor, materials, quantities and time.
• Develop proposals and design-build solutions for customers.
• Present recommendations and explain long-term facility costs.
• Build relationships, follow up on leads, and quote opportunities.
• Stay involved after the sale to resolve concerns and maintain relationships.
