Turn this role into an interview — a resume and cover letter built around what this employer wants.
Per Sé Group connects experienced engineering and technical professionals with major North American projects. We’re seeking an estimator who understands plumbing systems and can translate findings into clear proposals and cost-effective solutions.
The role emphasizes customer interaction, accurate estimates, and long-term relationships. A associate degree is required, bachelor’s preferred, with strong Word/Excel/PowerPoint skills.
If you know plumbing systems well enough to walk into a facility, figure out what's wrong, and explain what it will take to fix it, you already have the hardest part of this job.
Now imagine using that knowledge on the other side of the work surveying systems, developing solutions, building the estimate, and sitting across from the customer explaining why your recommendation makes sense.
What you’ll do:
What you get:
You’ll have a role where your technical knowledge actually drives the conversation, not just the sale. The base salary is $75,000-$100,000, and the position is direct hire. You’ll also have the opportunity to grow your customer relationships and become the person clients call when they need to figure out what comes next for their plumbing systems.
Who you are:
You understand plumbing and mechanical systems beyond the textbook. You can look at a system, drawings, or job conditions and connect the dots between the problem, the solution, and the cost. You’re comfortable talking with customers, asking good questions, explaining technical issues in plain English, and following an opportunity all the way from initial conversation to proposal.
An associate degree in construction sciences, HVAC, or a related field is required, with a bachelor’s preferred. You’ll also need working knowledge of plumbing/mechanical systems, customer relationship experience, and comfort with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
