1901 Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Project Engineer to support plumbing projects from pre-construction through completion. You will coordinate documentation, submittals, RFIs, and meetings, while assisting with site walks and scheduling to keep milestones on track.

• Prepare, review, and process submittals, RFIs, construction bulletins, and change requests

What You'll Accomplish

• Project Coordination Excellence
• Master project documentation by preparing, reviewing, and processing submittals, RFIs, construction bulletins, and change requests with precision
• Prepare and review meeting documentation efforts, capturing critical details, distributing action items, and ensuring follow-through
• Assist with strategic site walks to support coordination, track progress, & maintain quality standards
• Schedule & Resource ManagementCollaborate on schedule development and monitoring to keep projects on track and aligned with key milestonesCoordinate effectively with subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers, ensuring accountability and on-time deliveries
• Maintain comprehensive procurement logs, tracking equipment lead times and material flows
• Problem-Solving & Team Support
• Partner with project teams to identify and resolve field issues before they impact progress
• Support successful project closeout by gathering O&M manuals, as-builts, and final documentation
• Champion a culture of safety, collaboration, and continuous improvement across all project activities

What You Bring

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field; OR equivalent hands-on field experience
• 1-3 years of construction or MEP experience (strong/co-op experience valued)
• Working knowledge of either MEP systems, construction documents, and/or project workflows

Skills That Drive Success

• Exceptional organizational abilities with talent for managing multiple priorities simultaneously
• Strong grasp of construction processes and mechanical systems fundamentals
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar platforms a plus
• Understanding plumbing codes and commercial construction practices is a plus
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills that build trust and clarity
• Natural team player who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments
• Detail-oriented mindset with commitment to accuracy and follow-through
• Ability to maintain professional rapport with clients (i.e. architects, engineers, general contractors, installers, and suppliers) a plus
