Job summary

1901 Inc. is seeking a Plumbing Project Engineer to support plumbing projects from pre-construction through completion. You will coordinate documentation, submittals, RFIs, and meetings, while assisting with site walks and scheduling to keep milestones on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, construction management, or related field
• Equivalent hands-on field experience acceptable
• 1-3 years of construction or MEP experience (co-ops welcome)
• Familiarity with MEP systems, construction documents, or project workflows

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and support plumbingprojects from pre-construction through project closeout
• Prepare, review, and process submittals, RFIs, construction bulletins, and change requests
• Review meeting documents, capture key details, distribute action items, ensure follow-up
• Assist with site walks, coordinate with stakeholders, and maintain quality standards
• Support scheduling and resource management to keep milestones on track
• Maintain procurement logs and track equipment lead times and material flow
• Identify and resolve field issues with project teams
• Assist with project closeout documents (O&Ms, as-builts)
