Job summary

NisAir is seeking a full-time Plumbing Manager to oversee all operations of the Plumbing Service department. You will manage scheduling, dispatch, estimating, invoicing and customer service to meet quality and cost objectives.

Collaborate with the General Manager and VP of Plumbing to implement policies, ensure on-time deliverables, and drive profitability. Strong leadership and plumbing technical skills are essential for coordinating field crews and achieving service targets.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Strong and in-depth knowledge of plumbing systems.
• Ability to motivate, manage, train technicians, installers and dispatchers.
• Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint is helpful.
• Independent thinker with clean driver’s license.
• 10+ years in plumbing with at least 4 years in management.
• Purchasing/Inventory control and budgeting/cost center management.
• State plumbing license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Direct and manage Plumbing operations.
• Hire, train, develop and appraise Service Department staff.
• Focus on KPIs: revenue, gross profit, direct labor and materials costs.
• Generate revenue opportunities for the Plumbing team.
• Resolve customer service issues to support growth.
• Oversee installations, repairs, and maintenance for the plumbing dept.
• Provide time and cost estimates, assist in closing sales.
• Prepare drawings/submittals for permits and resolve inspections.
• Plan, schedule, supervise and assign plumbing team activities.
• Set work standards and production priorities.
• Maintain a safe work environment and enforce safety culture.
• Ensure technicians have inventory on trucks.
• Review payroll time sheets and commissions for accuracy.
