Job summary

Lehman Pipe And Supply Inc is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to develop and maintain customer relationships across plumbing, PVF, and construction products. You will generate quotations, process orders, and ensure timely delivery while supporting branch operations.

The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and CRM proficiency, with 2+ years in inside sales or distribution and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Associate or bachelor degree preferred.
• 2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or distribution experience preferred.
• Experience with plumbing, mechanical, PVF, industrial, waterworks, or construction products strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to read specifications, blueprints, and customer requirements is a plus.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, and CRM platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage inbound sales inquiries and proactively develop customer relationships.
• Prepare accurate quotes, bids, pricing proposals, and product recommendations.
• Process customer orders and coordinate fulfillment with warehouse and operations teams.
• Maintain knowledge of PVF, plumbing, mechanical, waterworks, and construction products.
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize revenue and gross margin.
• Follow up on quotations and open opportunities to convert business.
• Resolve customer concerns regarding pricing, product availability, deliveries, and returns.
• Collaborate with outside sales representatives and branch leadership to drive growth.
• Maintain CRM and sales records with accurate customer and opportunity information.
