Job summary

Sunbelt Marketing seeks an experienced Territory Manager to cover the Pittsburgh/Cleveland area. The ideal candidate will build relationships, promote products, and drive new business through hands-on demonstrations and a proactive sales approach.

The role requires frequent travel, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently and with teams to deliver outstanding customer service from inquiry to delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; prior experience in Sales, especially within plumbing industry, will be considered.
• Strong sales presence coupled with love of people and exceptional customer service.
• Demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving as well as strong leadership and listening skills.
• Product and vendor knowledge or ability to learn quickly.
• Capability to work both independently and within a team environment.
• Excellent verbal, written, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish, develop, and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers within the territory to generate new business.
• Promote/Sell/Secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-based sales approach.
• Demonstrate products to customers and assist them in selecting products that are best suited for their needs.
• Make telephone calls, in-person visits, and presentations to existing/prospective customers.
• Continually enhance sales skills and product knowledge to promote a professional image in the field.
• Work with other departments to ensure outstanding customer service from the order phase to delivery and beyond.
• Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new product offerings.
