Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a Plumbing Foreman to lead plumbing system installs on commercial construction sites across Staunton, Charlottesville, and surrounding areas. Projects include K-12, university, and healthcare buildings.

You will read drawings, prepare Bills of Materials, lay out and install piping (PVC, CPVC, black iron, copper, brass), and install fixtures. You will train field staff and maintain strong customer relations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to operate equipment on site.
• Basic computer skills; Microsoft Office, Internet, Email.
• Understanding usage of technology - iPad, iPhone, applications, etc.
• Knowledge of steam systems.
• Journeyman or Master Card.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings for all trades.
• Prepare a Bill of Materials based on drawings and blueprints.
• Layout and installation of plumbing pipe including PVC, CPVC, black iron, copper, brass.
• Installation of plumbing fixtures including toilets, urinals, sinks, hoods, drains, vents.
• Lead and train all field staff.
• Exceptional customer relational skills and strong written/oral communication.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
