Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical in Charlottesville and surrounding areas is seeking a Plumbing Foreman to lead on commercial construction sites, coordinate plumbing layouts, and train field staff. You will interpret drawings, assemble Bill of Materials, install piping (PVC, CPVC, iron, copper), fixtures, and ensure safety and quality on projects in K-12, university, and healthcare facilities.

Strong communication, valid driver license, and journeyman/master card are required.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret coordinated construction drawings for all trades.
• Ability to complete a Bill of Materials based on drawings and blueprints.
• Layout and installation of plumbing pipe including PVC, CPVC, black iron, copper, brass, etc.
• Installation of plumbing fixtures including toilets, urinals, sinks, hoods, drains, vents, etc.
• Ability to lead and train all field staff.
• Exceptional customer relational skills.
• Great communication skills; both written and oral.

Responsibilities

• Lead plumbing foreman duties on commercial projects.
• Coordinate layouts and material quantities from drawings.
• Install plumbing pipe and fittings per spec and code.
• Install fixtures and related components.
• Train and oversee field staff on job sites.
• Maintain clear communication with customers and team.
