Job summary

Moore's Electrical & Mechanical is seeking a Piping Foreman to ensure quality installs on commercial projects across Staunton, Charlottesville, and surrounding areas. You will lead field crews, promote safety, read drawings, and oversee pipe fabrication and installation of boilers, chillers, and pumps.

The role emphasizes leadership, strong communication, and customer relations, with opportunities on K-12, university, and healthcare projects.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret construction drawings and blueprints.
• Operate equipment safely on site.
• Use basic computer tools (MS Office, email, internet).
• Understand steam systems and piping fundamentals.
• Journeyman/Master Card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret coordinated construction drawings for all trades.
• Prepare Bills of Materials from drawings and blueprints.
• Fabricate and install pipe (carbon steel, copper, etc.).
• Install piping equipment including boilers, chillers, pumps, etc.
• Lead and train field staff; maintain safety and quality.
• Maintain excellent customer relations and communication.
• Hold valid drivers license and maintain clean driving record.
