Job summary

Advocate Health in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Maintenance Trades Specialist II - Plumbing for 1st shift at Pineville Plant Operations. This full-time role offers Monday–Friday, 7:00–3:30, and 40 hours per week with on-call coverage.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot basic building systems, read blueprints, and document tasks in CMMS while supporting fire protection work. Requires 2–4 years in industrial/trades maintenance and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Advanced training beyond high school that includes the completion of technical training.
• 2-4 years of experience in relatable industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Intermediate level computer skills in CMMS, Microsoft Office, Building Automation Systems.

Responsibilities

• Conducts preventive maintenance tasks and repairs on basic facility systems and documents tasks through the computerized maintenance system.
• Assists in evaluating and troubleshooting basic building system failures and performs repairs as directed.
• Operates and monitors and maintains basic Utility System Infrastructure.
• Assist in maintaining fire alarm and fire protection systems.
• Supports the installation of building hardware, electrical devices, and wall finishes under supervision.
• Maintains preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files for compliance.
• Reads blueprints, Life Safety drawings and maintenance manuals to gain knowledge needed to complete assignments.
