Job summary

Advocate Health Care's Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL, is hiring a Maintenance Trades Specialist II - Plumber for full-time 1st shift, 6:30am–3pm. You will conduct preventive maintenance on basic facility systems and document tasks in the CMMS, troubleshoot building system failures, and assist with fire protection systems.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 2–4 years in industrial/trades maintenance; valid driver’s license; CMMS and Building Automation knowledge;

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–4 years in industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Intermediate CMMS and Building Automation Systems knowledge.
• Good written and verbal communication.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on basic facility systems and document tasks in CMMS.
• Troubleshoot basic building system failures and perform repairs as directed.
• Operate and monitor basic Utility System Infrastructure.
• Maintain fire alarm and fire protection systems.
• Assist in installing building hardware, electrical devices, and wall finishes.
• Keep preventive maintenance records and equipment repair files.
• Read blueprints and Life Safety drawings to complete assignments.
