Job summary

Advocate Health Care's Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, IL seeks a Maintenance Trades Specialist III – Plumber to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on complex facility systems. You will read blueprints, operate building automation, and maintain medical gas and vacuum systems.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial/trades maintenance, advanced technical training, and a valid driver's license. This is a full-time, first-shift position with on-site work and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in industrial/trades maintenance or operations.
• Valid Driver’s License and required trade certification/license with CEUs or renewal.
• Advanced training beyond high school including technical training.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive maintenance and repairs on complex facility systems.
• Diagnoses and repairs for Utility and Infrastructure Systems.
• Installs/maintains building, mechanical, electrical, plumbing and controls systems.
• Operates and monitors advanced utility equipment and building automation systems.
• Maintains vacuum, compressed air, and medical gas systems.
• Reads blueprints and Life Safety drawings for task completion.
