Commercial Estimator – Plumbing

Responsible for producing accurate, competitive estimates for healthcare-related remodeling and facility projects. You will interpret architectural and plumbing plans/specifications, perform detailed plumbing material takeoffs, and evaluate project scope to support budgeting decisions.

Key duties

• Read and interpret plans, specs, and drawings to determine plumbing system scope
• Complete detailed plumbing quantity takeoffs and estimate labor/material requirements
• Solicit, review, and compare vendor/subcontractor quotes to ensure pricing accuracy
• Prepare and submit complete bid packages aligned with project requirements
• Collaborate with project managers and field teams to confirm scope alignment and code compliance
• Ensure estimates reflect regulatory requirements to support safe, patient-centered environments

Qualifications & Skills

• Strong knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, estimating practices, and construction documentation
• Ability to accurately quantify materials and assess scope from drawings and specifications
• Proficiency in reviewing vendor quotes and building competitive bids
