Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree in an applicable discipline with three years applicable experience OR five years applicable experience
• Capable of reading and interpreting plans from multiple disciplines (architectural, structural, civil, plumbing, electrical, mechanical)
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and discipline-specific engineering software (TRACE, HASS, SKM)
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Knowledge of building design specifications and general engineering theories/methodologies

Responsibilities

• Produces design drawings and models using industry software with accuracy and neatness
• Performs system design layout and sizing for assigned projects
• Assists in on-site observations and coordination with owners, architects, and engineers
• Reviews shop drawings, records changes, and keeps disciplines informed of details and schedules
• Coordinates with contractors and equipment suppliers under senior guidance
• Maintains organization of project design/construction files
