The role includes on-site observations and document organization. The ideal candidate has a two-year technical degree with extensive experience or eight years in the field, strong Revit/AutoCAD skills, and ability to read multiple disciplines' plans.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree plus six years applicable experience or eight years applicable experience
• Three years of experience with large scope projects
• Revit experience preferred
• Reading and interpreting plans from multiple disciplines
• Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks and engineering software
• Microsoft Office proficiency

Responsibilities

• Processes drawings from the architect into usable 3D models for the design team
• Coordinates initial project setup and maintains current models with the architect
• Prepares electronic drawings with accuracy and efficiency using industry software
• Develops design approaches in coordination with the project engineer
• Implements design requirements as related by design team
• Performs system design layout and sizing for assigned projects
• Assists in studies, load calculations, and equipment selection
• Reviews shop drawings and communicates changes to all disciplines
• Attends project update meetings with clients and team members
• Maintains records of communications with clients, contractors and vendors
• Coordinates documents with construction administrators and may perform site inspections
