Job summary

Atlantic Constructors Inc. seeks an experienced plumbing supervisor to lead day-to-day activities for commercial projects. You will guide crews, manage budgeting, scheduling, and ensure high-quality work and client satisfaction.

You will coordinate with engineering, estimating and project teams, ensure safety standards are followed, and report on progress, costs and scheduling across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in commercial plumbing field operations or equivalent.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems installation.
• Ability to supervise large crews (20+).
• Knowledge of other mechanical trade disciplines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with man-hour reports, job cost reports, workforce planning and estimating.
• Understanding of construction cost control, forecasting and goal setting.
• Strong cross-discipline communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise field crew, subcontractors and activities including method selection, manpower, materials, equipment, scheduling and documentation.
• Coordinate work across crafts, departments and other contractors.
• Document potential change orders.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, vendors and internal teams.
• Conduct weekly safety meetings and coordinate on-site activities.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate on-site functions.
• Perform material take-offs and procurement to maximize productivity.
• Ensure quality installation of plumbing activities.
• Manage production, including fabrication and related activities.
• Monitor costs, schedules, procurement and quality/safety controls.
