Atlantic Constructors is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Commercial Plumbing to help manage onsite teams, jobsite logistics and safety compliance under the Plumbing Superintendent. This position blends supervisory duties with hands-on plumbing tasks across active projects.

The role requires 5+ years in commercial plumbing, strong communication and the ability to coordinate crews and schedules across multiple sites, with emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial plumbing field experience.
• Proven ability to supervise crews on multiple sites.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with job cost reports and workforce planning.
• Knowledge of plumbing systems installation.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of commercial plumbing crews.
• Promote and monitor safety at all times.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, and general contractor to remove obstacles.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions.
• Manage material take-offs, orders, and equipment to maximize productivity.
• Ensure quality installation of plumbing work.
• Track deliveries and shipping documents.
• Coordinate labor and equipment on site.
• Forecast labor needs for superintendent.
• Directly perform a range of skilled plumbing tasks.
• Oversee cleanup crews and site cleanliness.
• Monitor progress, compliance, and obstacles; report findings.
• Enforce safety and legal regulations.
• Communicate schedules and plans to team.
• Maintain tools and inventory records.
• Harmonize work across job sites.
