Atlantic Constructors, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent for Commercial Plumbing to supervise on-site crews, manage jobsite logistics and ensure safety compliance under the Plumbing Superintendent.

This role involves hands-on plumbing and piping system tasks as well as coordinating with subcontractors and foremen. The position requires 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to report to multiple job sites.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of commercial plumbing field experience.
• Extensive knowledge of plumbing systems installation.
• Ability to supervise crews effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with job cost reports, workforce planning, and estimating.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision of commercial plumbing crews.
• Promote and monitor safety compliance at all times.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, foremen, tradesmen and the general contractor to maintain progress and efficiency.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate on-site functions.
• Perform material take-offs and order tools, materials and equipment timely.
• Ensure quality installation of plumbing activities.
• Coordinate deliveries and track shipping documents.
• Forecast labor needs and coordinate with foremen based on deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness of work area and storage facilities.
• Record and monitor inventory of tools and materials with foremen support.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
