Modine Manufacturing Company in Franklin, Wisconsin is seeking a Plumbing Assembly operator to join our team. You will assemble, install, and maintain industrial plumbing fixtures within HVAC systems, reading blueprints and work orders to ensure correct layouts.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, repair and maintain industrial plumbing fixtures and systems.
• Read blueprints, drawings and work order specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system for HVAC units.
• Ensure precise measurements, cutting, bending and threading of copper or PVC pipe using hand and power tools.
• Join tubes, pipes, couplings and fittings using cement, soldering and brazing.
• Test plumbing systems for leaks using air and water pressure gauges.

Role: Plumbing Assembly

Location: Franklin, WI

Pay: $24.00/hour

Position Description

Operators must be able to:

• Assemble, install, repair and maintain and industrial plumbing fixtures and systems
• Read blueprints, drawings and work order specifications to determine the layout of the plumbing system such as water supply networks and waste and drainage system of the HVAC unit
• Ensuring precise measurements, cuttings, bending and threading of copper or PVC pipe using hand and power tools such as reamers, copper pipe cutter and pipe thread machine
• Join and secure tubes, pipes, couplings and fittings through the use of cement, soldering and brazing
• Test plumbing system for leaks using air and water pressure gauges
• Work with the Production Lead to meet the standard operation procedures
• Measure and mark guidelines for proper HVAC unit parts installation
• Ensure safety and quality measures are followed
• Other duties as assigned by a member of management

Required Education & Qualifications

• Ability to bend at waist and knees
• Ability to twist at shoulders/waist
• Familiar with tools

Education Requirements:

• High school diploma of GED required.
