Job summary

Modine Manufacturing Company is seeking a sheet metal assembler for Climate by Design. Work on the shop floor assembling HVAC casings from blueprints, using power tools and overhead cranes with a strong team—training is provided to grow your manufacturing career.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent is preferred.
• Shop courses or equivalent experience is helpful.
• Some experience assembling HVAC equipment is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assembling (construct) sheet metal HVAC equipment casings according to job specifications defined in drawings.
• Using overhead cranes, power tools, wrenches, levels, etc.
• Maintaining equipment, tools, and work area in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Accurately tracking work hours by job and activity on time card.
• Accepting other duties and responsibilities as assigned or when required by customer needs.

Position Description

Climate by Design is a place where you will see projects progress from start to finish. Working with blueprints, you will learn how to make the pieces fit together and then make it happen. Using various power tools, you will be assembling sheet metal and other components together as a team. • Day Shift: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday through Thursday
• Night Shift: 7:00 pm – 5:00 am Sunday through Wednesday ($2.00 Night Shift Differential)
• Flex Shift: 9am - 10:30pm Monday through Thursday ** You choose your 10+ consistent hours** ($0.75 Flex Shift Differential)
