Job summary

Mayville Engineering Company, Inc. is seeking a manufacturing associate to support production line activities, including packing, assembling, and material handling. The role involves loading and unloading materials and maintaining a clean work area.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent) and prior manufacturing experience is preferred. Expect physical duties such as lifting up to 50 lbs, standing on concrete, and adherence to PPE/safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Assists with production line operations, including packing, assembling, and material handling.
• Loads and unloads materials and products.
• Maintains cleanliness of the production area by sweeping, organizing tools, and disposing of waste.
• Follows all safety regulations, including the proper use of PPE.
• Inspects materials for defects and reports any issues to supervisors or quality assurance.
• Collaborates with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Some physical demand; often lifts light to heavy-weight material. Frequent lifting/moving average weight (up to 50 lbs/11-27 kgs) material.
• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
