Job summary

MEC (Mayville Engineering Company, Inc.) in Defiance, OH seeks a Machine Operator to operate basic machinery per SOPs, load and unload materials, monitor operations, and perform routine maintenance. You will keep a clean, safe work area and follow safety policies. Strong teamwork, attention to detail, and ability to use ERP systems are required.

High School Diploma or equivalent is needed. Preferred but not required: prior manufacturing experience and ability to lift up to 50 lbs; 8–12 hour

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to perform occasional to frequent pushing, pulling, bending, kneeling, twisting, crawling and/or reaching over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to operate motorized vehicles over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
• Ability to stand and / or walk constantly over a full work shift on concrete (8-12 hours).
• May be exposed to noise levels for which hearing protection is required to be worn over a full work shift (8-12 hours).
