Job summary

Saputo Cheese USA Inc. seeks a PLC Technician in Franklin, WI to design, implement, and maintain PLCs and related automation systems at our new 340,000 sq ft facility.

You will troubleshoot electronic and electrical equipment, calibrate instruments, and coordinate with contractors to keep operations running smoothly. The role requires an AS in industrial controls or related field (or equivalent), PLC/HMI proficiency, and a strong maintenance mindset.

Qualifications

• Minimum education: AS degree or combination of education and experience.
• Experience with PLC, HMI or DCS certifications preferred.
• Calibration familiarity is a plus.
• Strong understanding of automated control systems and electronics.

Responsibilities

• Install, test, maintain, inspect, modify, and repair automation equipment and controls.
• Program and configure instruments including transmitters and valves.
• Troubleshoot electronic and mechanical malfunctions and identify root causes.
• Maintain preventative maintenance logs and coordinate with engineers for parts.
• Follow health and safety rules and work overtime as needed.
