Job summary

Saputo, Inc. is seeking a maintenance professional in Wisconsin to design, implement and maintain PLCs and ensure electrical and process equipment runs smoothly on the production floor.

You will perform preventive and repair maintenance on heating, cooling, ingredient handling systems and plumbing, troubleshoot downtime, and start machines to test operation. Strong reading, organization, and communication skills are required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent/training, or 6 years related experience.
• Ability to read and understand instructions.
• Solid organizational, analytical problem solving and communication skills.
• Maintain good sanitation and housekeeping of work areas.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain PLCs and troubleshoot electrical equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and equipment breakdowns.
• Perform preventive and repair maintenance on production equipment and systems.
• Install, maintain, repair, and overhaul production equipment.
• Record preventative maintenance tasks and work orders; respond to maintenance calls promptly.
• Train others as needed and ensure safe handling of chemicals.
