Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Maintenance Technician with PLC knowledge for our Scarborough, ME facility. You will troubleshoot and repair electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems to keep a busy manufacturing line running.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in manufacturing maintenance, can read schematics, and adheres to safety protocols. This role offers 1st or 2nd shift and hourly pay of $33–$40.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and PLC systems.
• Technical training or certification in hydraulics or maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to safety protocols and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machinery and equipment regularly to identify signs of malfunction.
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment at peak performance.
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC components.
• Coordinate with production to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and document maintenance activities.
• Adhere to safety policies and report any safety issues.
• Collaborate with technicians to share knowledge and solve problems.
• Maintain accurate records of service and repairs.
