Job summary

Jobot is seeking skilled Maintenance Technicians to support a busy metal casting operation. The role focuses on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, pneumatic, and PLC systems with hands-on troubleshooting in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, can read schematics, and works well in a team. Pay ranges from $33 to $40 per hour with 1st or 2nd shift options and profit-sharing eligibility.

Qualifications

3+ years in a maintenance technician role in manufacturing.
Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and PLC systems.
Technical training or certification in hydraulics or maintenance is desirable.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

Conduct routine inspections to identify malfunctions.
Perform preventive maintenance to keep machinery at peak performance.
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical and PLC systems.
Coordinate with production to schedule repairs and minimize downtime.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe work environment.
Document maintenance work and maintain accurate records.
Keep the maintenance area clean and stocked with tools and supplies.
Collaborate with other technicians to solve complex problems.
